Brougham Parish Council are seeking an experienced part time Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer

Working hours are flexible but will average 10 per month, working from home except for bi-monthly Council meetings to be held in Brougham. Salary is paid in line with NALC/SLCC national salary agreement. A computer is provided.

Brougham is a small parish and the job is particularly suitable for an existing parish council clerk who seeks additional work.

Torver Parish Council seeks a part-time clerk, preferably with previous experience

Working hours are flexible but will average 10 per month. With the exception of attending Council meetings, the post holder will be expected to work from home. The Council meets in the evening, on the first Thursday of each month.

Salary is paid in line with NALC/SLCC national salary agreement at £13.45 per hour (pay award pending). A computer is provided.

Torver is a small parish and the job could be suitable for an existing parish council clerk who seeks additional work.

Underskiddaw Parish Council seeks a confident person with an interest in the local community for the post of Clerk to the Parish Council and responsible Financial Officer (RFO) as soon as possible. The Clerk / RFO is responsible for managing the Council’s day to day business, providing advice, and implementing decisions. Applicants will need to be computer literate, able to prepare council agendas and record minutes, be familiar with bookkeeping and financial procedures and be able to correspond with external organisations on behalf of the Council. The  Council has implemented Scribe accounts and full training will be provided. Working hours are 16 per month and the salary is in accordance with the nationally agreed scale LC1 point 13 -16 depending on experience.  With the exception of meetings attendance, the post holder will be expected to work from home. A working from home allowance of £26 per month will be paid to help cover the cost of this. The council will also provide a laptop and printer, should they be needed, for the successful applicant. The Council meets on a Tuesday afternoon every other month, with other meetings being called as required.
